Who is responsible
Valdremor is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to privacy@valdremor.co.uk.
What stays in your browser
Your age answer, your storage choice, shards, Atlas, care settings and any pause are kept in your own browser storage. They never reach us, and we cannot read them. The cookie and storage policy lists every item.
What reaches us
If you send a message, we receive your name, email address, the subject you chose, your message and the time. We use them only to reply. Our host's servers also keep standard technical logs (such as the IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site running and secure; we do not use them to identify or profile anyone.
To limit spam, the contact form keeps a short-lived, one-way code derived from your IP address for one hour. Your IP address itself is never saved alongside the message.
Lawful bases
- Replying to your message: our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
- Server logs and spam control: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
- Browser storage beyond the essentials: your consent, which you give or refuse in the storage notice and can change at any time.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for up to 12 months after the last reply, then deleted. Server logs are deleted within 30 days. Spam-control codes expire after one hour.
Who else sees it
Nobody, except our hosting provider, which stores the site and its logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we use no advertising or analytics services. Data is hosted in the UK or the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, for corrections, for deletion, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to privacy@valdremor.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If our handling of your data troubles you, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
