1. Who we are
Valdremor ("we", "us") runs the website valdremor.co.uk, a social games site for entertainment only. You can reach us at hello@valdremor.co.uk.
2. Who may use the site
The site is for people aged 18 or over who are in the United Kingdom. If you are under 18, please do not use the halls. We ask your age on your first visit and close the halls on that browser if you answer No.
3. Entertainment only
Every hall is played for shards. Shards are points with no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, transferred, redeemed or used outside the site, and nothing on the site is a prize of monetary value. No real money is staked or paid out at any time.
There are no in-app purchases: nothing on the site is for sale, and we never ask for payment details.
Playing or success in these games does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
4. Shards and progress
You start with 2,000 shards. Below 50 shards you may refill to 2,000 at any time, free. Shards, your Atlas and your settings are stored in your browser. We do not hold them and cannot restore them if they are cleared, lost or changed.
5. Fair play
Results are drawn in your browser by its cryptographic random number generator and are not adjusted to how you play. The rules and pay table of each hall are shown on its page. If a fault ever causes a wrong result, it has no value to correct, but please tell us so we can fix it.
6. Responsible Play
We provide a pause of up to 30 days, reality checks, a round cap, a shard floor, calm mode and a self-check on the Player care page, and links to free UK support. Please use them, and stop if play stops being fun.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload or interfere with the site.
- Do not copy our games, artwork or text for another site.
- Do not use the contact form to send spam, abuse or unlawful content.
8. The Library and other sites
The Library reviews ordinary games made by other people and links to their official sites. We do not control those sites, are not paid by them and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy. Facts in our reviews were checked when stated and may have changed since.
9. Our content
The games, names, pictures, code and text on Valdremor are ours, except the names of the games in the Library, which belong to their makers and are used only to identify them.
10. Liability
We provide the site free of charge and as it is. We are not liable for any loss arising from its use, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of your part of the United Kingdom may hear any dispute.
