Worldle, reviewed
A daily geography puzzle with a smart clue system. Each wrong guess tells you how far away the answer is and in which direction, so even a poor first guess teaches you something. One puzzle a day keeps it light.

Our take
Worldle shows you the outline of a country or territory and gives you six guesses. After each guess you see the distance to the answer, an arrow pointing toward it and a percentage for how close you are. It turns a quiz into a small piece of navigation.
The puzzle changes once a day, at midnight local time, and an archive holds past puzzles for anyone who wants more. The clues reward a little general knowledge, but a careful reading of the arrows gets most people there within six guesses.
The official site is run by Teuteuf Games and is free with adverts, with a paid option to remove them. Beware of copies with similar names: the address we link to is the original.
A first sitting
Guess a big, central country first: the distance and arrow narrow things down quickly.
Where to stop
The daily puzzle is the stop. The archive is there, but one a day is what keeps it fun.
