About Colossus Gate
Colossus Gate is the widest hall in the Forge Quarter. Five reels of four rows give 1,024 ways: a symbol pays when it shows anywhere on neighbouring reels counted from the left, so three helms on reels one, two and three pay whichever rows they sit in. Two helms on the second reel double the ways, which is why a quiet-looking grid can still return something.
The hall is built around the colossus. On roughly one spin in five, a block of 2 × 2 cells drops onto reels two to five showing one symbol, often a high one, sometimes the gate seal. It counts as four symbols, so it can turn two short ways into a long run. Three or more golden gates anywhere open eight, ten or twelve bonus spins. In the bonus a colossus lands on every spin, and about a third of them are the full 3 × 3 size.
It is a swingy hall. Most spins return a little and many return nothing; the large returns come from the bonus, which arrives on average about once in 165 spins. If you like a steady rhythm, Mirror Runes or Three Moons will feel calmer.
How a round works
- Choose a stake from 5 to 200 shards with the minus and plus buttons.
- Press Spin. The reels settle from left to right and any colossal block appears on top.
- Every symbol that reaches at least the third reel from the left pays per way, times the stake. Wins on different symbols add up.
- Three, four or five golden gates pay 2, 5 or 20 times the stake and start 8, 10 or 12 bonus spins. They play out on their own at the same stake and cost nothing.
- The verdict line tells you what came back from what you staked, in plain numbers.

A colossal block lands on about 22 spins in 100 in the base game, on reels 2 to 5. In bonus spins one lands every time, and 35 in 100 of those are 3 × 3.
Fair play
Every result is drawn in your browser from the cryptographic random number generator built into it, the same source used to protect passwords. Nothing adjusts the draws to what you have staked, won back or lost, and no result is held back for later. Over many rounds every hall returns a little less than is staked, as casino-style games do; that difference is the reason the shards keep moving, not a promise of anything.
