About Drake Hoard

Drake Hoard plays on ten lines across five reels of three rows. The drake is wild on reels two to five, and it pays on its own too: a line of drakes is the best thing on the reels.

The chests are what make the hall feel different. Three or more chests anywhere start the hoard: nine closed chests appear, and you open three of them, or four or five if more chests landed. Each holds a multiple of your stake, from 1 to 12. The nine values are always the same set, shuffled for every hoard, so you can see from the pay table exactly what is inside before you open anything.

Opening chests is the only choice in the hall, and it is not a skill: every order of picks has the same average. Take your time with it anyway; it is meant to be a pause, not a race. The hoard appears about once in 200 spins.

How a round works

  1. Choose a stake. It is spread evenly across the ten lines.
  2. Press Spin. Lines pay their best match from the left; the drake stands in for every symbol except the chest.
  3. Three, four or five chests start the hoard: open 3, 4 or 5 of the nine chests.
  4. Each chest shows a multiple of your stake. When you are done, the rest are shown so you can see what was there.

Pay table

Pays per line, as a multiple of your whole stake (the stake is shared by 10 lines).

Fair play

Every result is drawn in your browser from the cryptographic random number generator built into it, the same source used to protect passwords. Nothing adjusts the draws to what you have staked, won back or lost, and no result is held back for later. Over many rounds every hall returns a little less than is staked, as casino-style games do; that difference is the reason the shards keep moving, not a promise of anything.
