About Watchfire 75
Watchfire 75 is a numbers game played on a single card. The card has five columns headed W, A, T, C and H; each column holds five numbers from its own range of fifteen, and the centre is a free space. Each round, forty numbers are called from the full pool of 75 and every number on your card that is called is marked for you.
When the calls end, the hall looks for the best pattern on your card. A single line (across, down or corner to corner) returns 1.4 times the stake; the four corners pay 2, two lines 2.5, three lines 6, and a cross of both diagonals 10. The whole outer frame pays 250 and a full card 1,000, though with forty calls those last two are very rare. Only the best pattern counts.
There is nothing to decide inside a round, which makes it the most restful hall in the realm. You can swap your card for a new one between rounds; it changes nothing about the chances, but some people like a fresh card.
How a round works
- Choose a stake. Press New card if you would like a different card; it is free.
- Press Light the beacon. Forty numbers are called and marked on your card.
- The best pattern on the card is highlighted, together with its line in the pattern table.
- The round returns that pattern's multiple of your stake, or nothing if no pattern formed.

Fair play
Every result is drawn in your browser from the cryptographic random number generator built into it, the same source used to protect passwords. Nothing adjusts the draws to what you have staked, won back or lost, and no result is held back for later. Over many rounds every hall returns a little less than is staked, as casino-style games do; that difference is the reason the shards keep moving, not a promise of anything.
