About Mirror Runes

Mirror Runes is the most direct of the reel halls. Twenty lines run across five reels of three rows, and a line pays when three, four or five matching symbols sit on it from the left. The rune sigil on reels two, three and four stands in for any symbol.

The mirrors are the point of the hall. On each reel there is about a one in seven chance of a stack of one, two or three mirrors. When the reels stop, every mirror on the grid flips to the same symbol, chosen at random. Two tall stacks that turn into owls can fill several lines at once; a single mirror that turns into a blue rune does very little. The mirror can even show the sigil itself, and then it acts as a wild wherever it stands.

Mirror Runes has no bonus round, so there is never anything to wait for. Every spin is complete in itself, which makes Mirror Runes a good hall for short sessions with a clear end.

How a round works

  1. Choose a stake. It is spread evenly across the twenty lines.
  2. Press Spin. Mirrors land first, then turn together into one symbol.
  3. Each line pays its best match from the left. Pays on different lines add up.
  4. The pay table below shows each pay as a multiple of your whole stake.

Pay table

Pays per line, as a multiple of your whole stake (the stake is shared by 20 lines).

Each reel has a 14 in 100 chance of a mirror stack of one to three. All mirrors on the grid show the same symbol; the rune sigil is the rarest thing a mirror can show.

Fair play

Every result is drawn in your browser from the cryptographic random number generator built into it, the same source used to protect passwords. Nothing adjusts the draws to what you have staked, won back or lost, and no result is held back for later. Over many rounds every hall returns a little less than is staked, as casino-style games do; that difference is the reason the shards keep moving, not a promise of anything.
